Updated Traditional Interior Design - Evanston Illinois

At Studio Fifth Sunday, we truly love when clients come back to work with us again—it means the world. We recently wrapped up a project for this awesome couple, and now we’re diving into phase two: refreshing their living and dining rooms. They’re looking for a more updated, cohesive feel that still honors the traditional charm of their home, and we’re excited to help bring that vision to life through this updated traditional interior design.

For the dining room, they really want it to function better for entertaining, so we’re adding custom cabinetry complete with a wine fridge and refrigerator drawers—perfect for hosting. They’re big fans of the color green, so we’re weaving that into the design in a way that feels fresh but still timeless. And because they’re both avid readers (which we love), they asked for more built-in bookcases that flow naturally with the rest of the room. It’s shaping up to be such a fun and thoughtful project, and we’re so excited to keep the creativity going with these returning clients.
