Modern Transitional Kitchen Design - Skokie Illinois

The original kitchen had a cramped, awkward layout that just didn’t work for our client—an avid home cook who loves preparing meals for her family. She envisioned a space that felt bright, cheerful, and welcoming. To bring that vision to life, we reconfigured the layout by relocating a doorway, which improved the flow and created additional counter space.

A floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinet added much-needed storage, while open shelving and glass-front cabinets with integrated lighting kept the space feeling light and airy.

We love how this renovation reflects our client’s personality and priorities. Although the kitchen’s footprint remained the same, she now says it feels significantly larger—and even when friends and family gather, she still has plenty of room to cook comfortably.
